Where do you skydive through Floating Rings in Fortnite? As part of your week 7 challenges for season 6 one of your tasks is to skydive through Floating Rings. As of the challenges going live on November 8 bright, fluorescent rings have appeared in the sky above the Fortnite map, and you have to dive through 20 of them for five lovely Battle Stars.
As you’ll probably know by now, Epic’s weekly objectives come in two variations: free and Battle Pass challenges. Of the four premium challenges you can only tackle if you’ve bought into Epic’s seasonal progression system conducting a skydive through Floating Rings in Fortnite. So, if you haven’t bought a Battle Pass, you’re going to need to before you can even attempt this challenge so you can put the Battle Star rewards towards all sorts of cool Fortnite skins and other cosmetic goodies.
Bought one? Good. Let us proceed with helping you skydive through Fortnite Floating Rings. There are other challenges this week, of course, which include your typical eliminate opponents and deal a certain type of damage tasks, plus some fairly simple staged challenges. However, we’re focused on leaping out of that Battle Bus, so here’s where to skydive through Floating Rings in Fortnite.
How and where to skydive through Fortnite Floating Rings
When it comes to Fortnite Floating Rings, you really can’t miss them as you decide where to drop. They are very brightly coloured and shaped in a sort of pyramid. That means if you aim your dive enough to get through the hoop at the peak of the pyramid you have the best chance to skydive through Floating Rings in as few drops as possible. Who doesn’t like a nice side of efficiency with their weekly Fortnite challenges?
Below is roughly where the Fortnite Floating Rings are:
- Above the yellow bridge
- North-east of Fatal Fields
- South-west Wailing Woods
- South-east of Leaky Lake
- Between Dusty Divot and Tilted Towers
- North-east of Pleasant Park
- Between Tilted Towers and Snobby Shores
So those are the places above which you should aim your drop. It should only take a few attempts to get through the 20 you need to complete the objective. Just in case you didn’t tackle this challenge in previous seasons, remember you can easily float rather than dive through each ring. It will take longer, but it will be much easier to aim your descent.
And that’s where and how to skydive through Floating Rings in Fortnite. Remember that’s not all when it comes to your Fortnite challenges, so make sure you’re up to date to make the most from your season 6 Battle Pass. For now, happy droppin’.
