Total War devs to stream charity game jam, free codes up for grabs every 30 minutes

Franco Jam

Alien: Isolation studio Creative Assembly are running a game jam this weekend and they’re streaming the fun, with all proceeds going to charity. If you tune in, you could even win some free videogames.

If you like free PC games, we’ve collected the best up at that link.

The Franco Jam, as it’s called, is returning for its third year, in honour ofCreative Assembly’s Simon Franco, who was tragically taken by cancer in 2014. Creative Assembly are raising money to help battle the disease, and you can help out over on Just Giving.

Franco Jam will see teams of Creative Assembly developers try create fully working games over the course of two days, and you can watch the fun over on the Total War Twitch channel. During the stream, game codes for PC and console will be given away every 30 minutes.

There will be updates for Franco Jam, highlight footage from Creative Assembly’s favourite games, and even a blindfolded run from Alien: Isolation. All the details are here.

This year’s Franco Jam will begin at 5pm BST on November 11 and end at 5pm BST on November 13.
