Your mission in Genesis Alpha One is to find a new home for humanity as we’ve gone and screwed ourselves over. You do this by building a spaceship and venturing to uncharted planets, fighting back any alien infestations you incur, and ensuring you have enough resources to survive the whole ordeal. If you die then humanity will probably die as a species alongside you. No pressure.
But you don’t have a copy of Genesis Alpha One right now. You could always go and buy the game over on the Epic Games store – it’s £24.99, y’know? Or your other option is to enter this giveaway we’re hosting for the game. We have ten codes that unlock the full game over on the Epic Games store. You want one? Better keep on reading then, scout.
Genesis Alpha One is first-person roguelike, in essence. That means the universe that you’ll be exploring is randomly generated. You won’t be able to memorise your safest journey through the galaxies and repeat it, sorry. But you will learn how to deal with the threats you find along the way and get better at looking for vital resources.
And, as this is a roguelike, death is permanent. You’ll want to put a lot of time into looking after your crew as they’ll be gone forever once they’re dead… unless you manage to splice their DNA with an alien’s and clone them. Yes, you can do that. Maybe prioritise that when snapping the modules of your ship together – who needs crew quarters and greenhouses anyway?
Right then, in order to enter yourself into the competition to win one of the ten codes we have for Genesis Alpha One, you need to use the widget below. Every action you complete is worth one entry into the giveaway, with the more actions you complete increasing your chances of winning.
We’ll also need your email address so we can send you a code upon winning – we won’t send you spam, we promise. Please read our terms and conditions before you enter.
