GTA 6 trailer 2 just dropped out of nowhere, and you can watch it here

GTA 6 trailer 2 has just landed, shortly after Rockstar confirmed that the open-world game sequel would be delayed until May 26, 2026.

GTA 6 trailer 2: Jason from Rockstar Games' Grand Theft Auto 6

Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer 2 is suddenly here, less than a week after Rockstar confirmed that the open-world game sequel would miss its original launch window and arrive in 2026 instead. The most-wanted game in the world, GTA 6 takes us back to the sun-streaked streets of Vice City, now in the fictional state of Leonida. In the new trailer, we learn about Jason, GTA 6's other playable character, alongside Lucia. If you were disappointed by the Grand Theft Auto 6 delay, at least now we know more about what to expect.

The GTA 6 release date might have changed, but the GTA 5 sequel is still on the way - and still looking seriously impressive. After the initial reveal of the open-world game and playable character Lucia, Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer 2 gives us a look at her partner in crime and in romance - Jason. Pay close attention, and there's even a gun dealer named Phil. Does GTA 6 somehow bring back the original Vice City's Phil Cassidy?

Compared to trailer 1, which revealed the wackier, more colorful side of Vice City, trailer 2 seems to be focused on the inner workings of Jason and Lucia's criminal career, as well as their personal relationship. I also get the sense that tonally GTA 6 might be closer to Red Dead Redemption 2 than Grand Theft Auto 5. We'll see.
