For the unfamiliar, Grim Dawn is a classic ARPG in a post-apocalyptic fantasy world. Items, crafting and a lot of monsters to slaughter neigh-endlessly, in a world where “humanity is on the brink of extinction.” Here’s how it starts:

The announcement that it is nearing completion was made in a Kickstarter update, which have been rare but regular, where Arthur Bruno of creators Crate Entertainment took a moment to go over the game’s history. He also says that once the various post-release bug-fixing and polish-applying rituals have been completed, they’ll start work on modding tools, a Survival Mode and an inevitable expansion.

As for the final EA patch itself, you can read the full notes on the forums. They are massive, adding tonnes of new content to the game, as well as redefining lots of the old. If you want to pick it up, it’s on Steamand there’s a bunch of different collector’s edition style version on the official site.
