How do you open the Grounded 2 briefcase? Grounded sure isn't known as a puzzle game series, but that doesn't mean Obsidian can't squeeze a brain teaser in here and there. In Grounded 2, you'll have come across a locked briefcase, which at first looks like any other set piece. Get closer, though, and you find that the combination locks can be interacted with, meaning there must be a way in.
While puzzles may not be the crux of Grounded 2, exploration is, and finding your way into the locked briefcase requires some serious hunting. One combination is found just above the briefcase itself, but the second is much harder to locate in the survival game. What are the Grounded 2 briefcase codes?
The briefcase combinations can be found scribbled on pieces of paper across the map. The left number is 137, and the right is 514.
The first number is found close to the briefcase itself, on the top of the picnic table. Getting there is no easy feat, so we've got a separate guide to help you get on top of the Grounded 2 picnic table. Once you get to the top, the newspaper crossword puzzle is just in front of you, with the number 137 scrawled at the bottom.
You need to go a bit further afield to find the second number, which is located on the very top of the lectern, south of the Dr. Tully statue. Climbing the lectern requires a bit of parkour, and you must also reach the top as part of the questline to hack Someone's ORC Receivers, so this is the perfect time to grab the second briefcase code.
Grounded 2 briefcase rewards
Considering the amount of work required to get into the briefcase, there isn't actually much loot to claim. The best item to pick up here is a Milk Molar, but you'll also find candies, Raw Science, and a Grounded 2 snail, among other bugs to kill.
