September 13, 2025: Added new Tropical plants to the list for the GaG Fall Market event.

What are tropical plants in Grow a Garden? When the new vendors decide it's time to give some exotic fruits to the Fall Market in the middle of the map, it's time for alert Seed Shop shoppers to rise up. Many of the seeds stocked in the standard shop can fit the bill, making it one of the easier Fall Market periods to take part in.

While you dig through your Grow a Garden inventory for any Tropical plants or seeds you may already have, study the updated Grow a Garden pets tier list to see if the Fall Market event rewards are even worth it. We also have guides on all GaG prickly plants, all Stalky plants, and all Grow a Garden berry plants.

If you took part in past events, you may have access to rarer crops like the Starfruit, Durian, and Passionfruit. These can be used to accelerate the growth of the Beanstalk by offering more points.

Some Tropical fruits, like the Pineapple and Banana, can be stocked in the Summer Seed Shop that has a chance to spawn every four hours.

Note that different species of these plants, like the Blood Banana and Moon Melon, are not classed as Tropical plants and cannot be handed over.

Once you've decided which Tropical plants to donate, speak to the Fall Market NPC. As long as you don't have another plant in your hand, you can do this to donate individual plants.

Exhausted your Tropical plant yield? Wait out the next Fall Market request by playing some of the best Roblox games around.
