Previous teases suggest the expansion will take you to the Crystal Desert, with a story set around Kralkatorrik, the elder dragon. The last expansion, Heart of Thorns, took you to Maguuma Jungle, home of the elder dragon Mordremoth.
It’s been two years since Heart of Thorns, so you’re probably salivating at the prospect of a whole new land to explore.
ArenaNet are known for doing things a bit differently, forgoing the traditional level cap increases that MMOs usually introduce with expansions, instead offering new mechanics and ways to traverse the world.
