Endless access to everything Tyria has to offer, bi-monthly updates like these, and an education in contemporary MMO design – all for just the price of entry, with no subs or microtransactions waiting for you on the other side. The trial period is open to North American and European players only, I’m afraid. It starts Friday, September 27 at 08:01 BST, and ends on the distinctly wintery-sounding Friday, October 4 at 07:59 BST. Set up an account here.
Sensibly, the developers have also discounted the game for the duration of the trial. Visit their site between the aforementioned dates and you’ll find the Digital Heroic Edition wearing nothing but a come hither smile and a £27.99 price tag.
