Because today’s the day the evil beasts have their picnic infiltrate the Sylvari stronghold.

The Twilight Assault quest line has you infiltrate the Twilight Arbor on behalf of sylvari hero Caithe. Scarlet and the Nightmare Couriers are up to no good there and it’s for you to stop them.
A party of level 80s will join Caithe in fighting through a secret facility where you’ll “Take out guards, puzzle your way through tricks and traps, and bring down the monster at the pounding heart of the stronghold.” Completing the quest earns you a glow in the dark Slickpack item for your back and a miniature version of one of Twilight Assault’s bosses.
The folk you fight in the Twilight Arbor also have a chance to drop Nightmare weapons (which also glow).
Finally, “across the Maguuma Jungle, players can find Aether Key Pieces. Collect and combine five of these to form a key that will open Aether Chests in the new path of Twilight Arbor.
