You can visit Ponyvale Equestrian Estates, of all places, in the new King of the Kill update

H1Z1 King of the Kill update

H1Z1: King of the Kill is still going strong, and they’ve recently brought out a chunky patch with all sorts of new bits and bobs. The update is, in fact, already live! There’s new locations, a new skirmish, and a complete overhaul to the game’s toxic gas.

King of the Kill doesn’t have the zombie focus H1Z1 originally had, so if you want the best zombie games on PC, check these out.

That new skirmish is called Pleasant Valley Nightmare, which takes place in a focused area already surrounded by gas. That gas will close in faster than normal, and on top of that, this skirmish takes place at night – it’s a dark, claustrophobic bit of chaos.

New points of interest on the main map also include ‘Coy’s Car Salvage’, a large vehicle salvage yard, and ‘Ponyvale Equestrian Estates’, a community of “hardcore horse enthusiasts.” Because there’s a community for everything.

The changes to the gas now mean new areas could be the focus towards the end of the game, with randomised progression for the ring’s start and end. Of course, the main take away is: don’t breathe in toxic gas. It’s generally a pretty poor idea.

Lots of balance changes are also included in the update, such as buffs to the pickup truck and Offroader. For all of the details, you can take a look at the patch notes, or just get in-game and see what’s new!

Cheers, PC Gamer.
