No, it’s not real. As you might expect, Half-Life 3 isn’t being announced by Valve three days after they had the eyes of the whole world on The International via a banner at a show. You can see it above and in the tweet below, but it actually reads “Half-Life: 3 people, who played it back then.”
In the mean time, here’s a list of future games that are definitely actually happening.

So, that out of the way, there are a lot of real announcements coming out of Gamescom today and through the rest of the week. We’ll be keeping track of all of it – PC related, natch – and bringing you previews and interviews for the next five days. Today alone there’s going to be a number of announcements, including Blizzard’s blow-out video this afternoon and a Titanfall 2 stream a little later on.
