Hearthstone’s first expansion, Goblins vs Gnomes has finally gone live. Although the official release was yesterday, problems with the North American release saw the European activation delayed.
Blizzard are rewarding all players who log in before the 19 December with three free Goblins vs Gnomes card packs.
Goblins vs Gnomes comes with 120 new cards and adds a new type of minion, mechs, to jam a spanner in the works of all those perfected deck strategies.
“Goblins vs Gnomes throws a big wrench into the Hearthstone works,” Mike Morhaime, CEO and cofounder of Blizzard Entertainment, told our totally not made up abstract intern Prez Relice. “Players are already having a blast coming up with inventive new strategies and deck ideas—we’re looking forward to seeing what happens now that they can put those plans into action.”
