Did you know a new Hearthstone expansion launched this week? Of course you did! Goblins vs Gnomes has brought over 120 cards to the game, all themed around the eternal rivalry of Warcraft’s two most inventive races.
I’ve got 60 packs to open up tonight; hopefully we can score some shiny legendaries to use in constructed. After that, I’ll be jumping head first into the arena; you can watch me live over on our Twitch channel. The stream is embedded below, but make sure to head into chat and say hello!
We’ve already been able to take the new cards for spin, afterBlizzard sneaked the new cards into arenalast week.
Having a look over theentire Goblins vs Gnome set, I’m most exciting about the prospects of the Shaman, Warlock and Hunter class.
Murlocs have always been a “fun” deck to play, but never competitive. With the new Shaman specific Murlock, and the class legendary, Neptulon, a competitive deck is actually viable.
Warlocks class legendary, Mal’Ganis is nothing short of amazing. Coupled with Floating Watcher and Mistress of Pain, there’s a really good demon deck to be had with plenty of versatility.
With Hunters, I’m more excited about a new deathrattle deck. Feign Death can be quite frightening with some setup, especially with cards like Mekgineer Thermaplugg: which summons a Leper Gnome for every minion that dies. Throw in a Baron Rivendare and stuff starts to get truly insane.
I’ll be opening a forty odd packs, before heading into the arena to try and nab some more. You can watch the card cracking and arena runs on our stream below. Remember – if you have any questions, feel free to ask them in chat!Watch live video from PCGamesN on www.twitch.tv
