When is the Hytale release time? It's been a long time coming, so we are just chomping at the bit for the chance to play Hytale. Having been bought by Riot, cancelled, and bought back by Hypixel, the Hytale early access release date is nearly upon us, and we know exactly when you can don your armor and get fighting.
A new sandbox game from Hypixel, the minds behind one of the greatest and most popular Minecraft servers of all time, Hytale features a similar gameplay loop to Minecraft, with mining, crafting, building, and monster-fighting all present. The style is a little more akin to the original Hypixel server, though, with a rustic, medieval RPG aesthetic and cool monsters and structures to match. Here's when you can play Hytale for the first time.
Hytale preload
With the Hytale Launcher installed and the game pre-purchased, you can now preload the game. We've tried and tested this, so we can confirm it to be true.
Downloading Hytale now will help to ensure you get into the new game as soon as it launches at the time below. Preloading the crafting game could also help to prevent server issues at release, but we'll be keeping an eye on this situation anyway, and we'll let you know the latest in our Hytale downtime guide. The early access Hytale launch time is set for 7am PT / 10am ET / 3pm GMT / 4pm CEST on Tuesday, January 13, 2026.
We know this from the countdown clock on the official Hytale website, which is set to end at the times above. This is exactly when you'll be able to download and play the Minecraft-like.
