Viscera Cleanup Detail now caking the walls of Steam Early Access in gore

Viscera Cleanup Detail on Steam Early Access

The game that asks the important question “who cleans up the gore after aliens attack,” Viscera Cleanup Detail, has just hit Steam Early Access.

It’s not light years away from Surgeon Simulator, with its physics shenanigans and the opportunity to create a giant mess wherever you go. This early access version provides the campaign and a sandbox mode and multiplayer support - more mops to clean up with, and more people to throw bloody limbs at.

Picking the game up now will also net you the DLC spin-offs, Santa’s Rampage and Shadow Warrior, the latter of which puts you in the blood-spattered boots of a janitor just after Shadow Warrior’s Lo Wang has carved his way through countless bodies.

If you already own Santa’s Rampage, you’ll get a Viscera Cleanup Detail discount. Without that, it’s £5.59 / $7.99.

Love the game, hopefully there will be custom maps and dedicated servers. It is a lot of fun with friends, lots of hidden stuff and working together do get the map clean can be challenging and exciting at times.

I just realized I own the Shadow warrior one, just tried it. It's certainly amusing, but I couldn't imagine myself wanting to clean up the messes I've made in shooters. Maybe the full game has more amusing settings, but the temple was kind of meh.
