The more I see of Blag Flag, the more I’m convinced that it’s the refresh that the series needs. After the fairly bland ACIII, Black Flag looks genuinely quite exciting. Just look at this trailer; it’s got more fun swashbuckling goodness in it than an hours worth of pirate radio or three Johnny Depp in the Caribbean films.
The trailer also takes the time to remind you that you can buy the Buccaneer Edition when it hits the shelves in November. It’s priced at an unsavoury £79.99, so you might have to plunder some real booty of your own to afford that Kenway statue. It’d look pretty great on your mantlepiece though.
