Jurassic World Evolution is available for pre-order now, here’s a new trailer

Jurassic World Evolution

Jurassic World Evolution is available for pre-order now. A new trailer for the game, which launches on June 12, shows off some of Frontier’s upcoming dinosaur management game.

Here are five things we’d like to see in Jurassic World Evolution.

The trailer, which you can watch above, opens with a pretty vicious, pretty enormous, dinosaur, but soon returns to the idyll of the Muertes Archipelago (all five islands of which can be built on in-game). The trailer shows off the game’s building and terraforming tools, as well as showing off how dinosaurs interact with each other, as well as their human guests. If you saw Jurassic World in cinemas, it should all look pretty familiar.

This being a Jurassic Park game, however, things soon go wrong. A storm rolls in, followed by a tornado, weakening the enclosure of a Triceratops, who takes the opportunity to make a bid for freedom. To combat escaped dinosaurs, players must take to the air in a helicopter, before tranquilising their exhibits and then, somewhat comically, airlifting them back to their enclosures.

Pre-orders for Jurassic World Evolution are available now. It seems the game won’t have mod support when it launches, but it will offer full Jeff Goldblum support, which is far superior.
