Just Cause has never been a series blessed with a gripping or even memorable story. Any narrative that does try to compete with the explosions and demolition for time in the spotlight just gives a bit of context to said destruction.
It looks like Just Cause 3 will carry on this fine tradition. Take a gander at the story trailer below.
So it’s pretty much the same story as the last one: there’s a big bad dictator, and Rico’s going to destabilise his terrible regime by blowing everything up and ruining his lovely statues.
You really don’t need much more than that when you’ve got an explosive playground and a never ending supply of weapons and vehicles, I suppose.
Just Cause 3 is coming out on December 1st.
