You know that whole ‘buy a game on Xbox One, play it on Windows 10’ thing? The thing that hardly anyone but Microsoft actually does because of…erm…reasons? Well, the Redmond giant has one more title to add to the roster, this time in the shape of the Definitive Edition of Killer Instinct.

Microsoft took to its blog to reveal Killer Instinct: Definitive Edition is now available on Windows 10, enabling anyone who already has it on Xbox One to download it on their PC.
Likewise, anyone who buys it on their PC today can also download it on their Xbox One, if they’re so inclined, and both groups can even take each other on online, just as God intended.
“Previously available only on Xbox One, the Definitive Edition packs up ALL the content we’ve ever released – every character (psst, there are 26), stage (20 in full glory), costume, color, trailers and tracks – and puts it all into one box of awesome goodness,” details Microsoft.
“As an added bonus, it also comes with behind-the-scenes videos, never-before-seen concept art, and a full universe map so you can read the bios and backstories of all your favorite characters.”
Microsoft says it has more planned for Killer Instinct “soon”, with announcements in the new year to follow.
