A new Leisure Suit Larry game is on the way

There’s a brand new Leisure Suit Larry game on the way, so fans of the original series’ cheeky puns and sex jokes have another point-and-click outing to look forward to.

Leisure Suit Larry – Wet Dreams Don’t Dry takes Larry from his familiar 1980s and transports him to the present day, so it’ll undoubtedly involve Larry trying to come to grips with modern technology and social mores. Larry has always been a bit of a fish out of water, bumbling his way between attractive cartoon women using a combination of tacky one-liners and an adventure game inventory.

This latest Larry adventure is being developed by CrazyBunch, who have worked on some VR titles in the past. Leisure Suit Larry – Wet Dreams Don’t Dry features the hand-drawn art style that’s been typical of the series. Larry Laffer himself has gotten a bit of a design refresh, and according to the Steam page, this new game will be a non-linear adventure.

The page doesn’t make any mention of series creator Al Lowe, who made the original Larry games for Sierra Online. The series itself has been published by Codemasters since 2009.

Without further ado, here’s the trailer:

Leisure Suit Larry – Wet Dreams Don’t Dry is scheduled to launch November 7.
