Life is Strange’s photo contest brought to life with $10,000 up for grabs

Life is Strange contest

Episodic graphic adventure game Life is Strange might’ve wrapped up back in October last year, but Square Enix have kept its reels spinning by way of socially-influenced promotions since. The latest sees the game’s photography contest brought to life – an initiative that’ll land one lucky entrant a scholarship worth $10,000.

Life is Strange is great. So great it grabbed one of our end of year awards in 2015.

A couple of weeks back, Square Enix announced a Life is Strange anti-bullying campaign in partnership with the PACER National Bullying Prevention Center in order to raise money and awareness.

Now, Square Enix are sponsoring a scholarship worth $10,000, named the Everyday Heroes Scholarship Fund. Similar to events in-game, the contest is aimed at students and amateur photographers and asks contestants to “capture how normal people make the world a better place.”

Only one entrant will win the grand prize, however the top three finalists will have their photos shared across Square Enix’s social channels, will have them printed, framed, and then signed by developers DONTNOD themselves.

If you’re a budding photographer and are interested in celebrating the “unsung champions in your life”, more information can be found via the contest’s page. Good luck!
