Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain’s E3 trailer is exactly what you’d want from a game made by Hideo Kojima. It’s absolutely barmy, is what I’m saying. It’s long, too, running for almost six minutes. Don’t expect to be able to decipher much from the philosophising, though.
Watch it below.
Yep, it’s Metal Gear Solid alright.
The Phantom Pain is set after last year’s excellent but tiny stealth sandbox, Ground Zeroes. Big Boss travels to Afghanistan, an open world, to get a bit of delicious revenge on the naughty buggers who destroyed his mercenary company, Militaires Sans Frontières.
It’s due out on September 1st.
