Middle-earth: Shadow of War will let you import your greatest nemesis

Middle-earth Shadow of War

If you played Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, you probably built up quite the collection of scarred orcs who hate your guts. Perhaps there’s one that’s particularly memorable? Well, you’ll be taking them with you into the sequel.

Check our list of upcoming PC games for more future hits.

This is possible because of Nemesis Forge, a new update released to Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor today. All you need to do is load up the game and select the new Nemesis Forge option.

If you’ve finished the game, it’ll automatically choose your highest ranking enemy and your most loyal follower. Both of them will then show up in the sequel when you buy it. If you haven’t played the first game, you can try it for free between now and July 9.

Once it’s all sorted, your nemesis will be waiting for you in Shadow of War on October 10. So will your best mate.

If, like us, you don’t have any friends yet, Shadow of Mordor is actually free right now and will be for the rest of the weekend. It also still has that 80% off deal from the Summer sale running, meaning you can get it for less than the price of a particularly nice cup of coffee.
