I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again – Minecraft players are some of the smartest game fans around. This player, has managed to work out how to create a fully functioning bomber plane, so pilligers beware. User Kurozawa posted a video of this dastardly design, and it’s confusing just to look at.
We’ve seen a lot of the best Minecraft builds around, but this is somehow different, and it’s certainly destructive. If you look closely at the video you can sort of work out how the absolute madman has achieved such explosive results.
It doesn’t look like there is any way to control the aircraft other than making it ‘go’, as it were. Made out of a mixture of minecarts, music blocks, pistons, slime blocks, and TNT, amongst other materials, it seems that there is a very specific order of events for the mechanism to work. Its v shape, which makes it look a little like a plane, seems to be a result of a chain reaction and as the middle moves, the wings follow.
I’ve talked about this very abstract concept far too long. In fact just watch this video they created for yourself, it really is something to behold.

The sheer amount of engineering behind projects like this is truly admirable. It’s almost as if it’s a science project, as I can only try to imagine the amount of experimentation and trial and error.

The video, as interesting as it is, seems to indicate that all this effort was just because Kurozawa wanted to steal a block of diamond from the manor house they’re bombing. Seems like it would have been a little less effort to just go make one themselves right?
