The Minecraft Marketplace has always been a true treasure trove of items and experiences. Whether you're looking for the perfect skin or a brand new world to dive into, there's a wealth of options at your fingertips, and thanks to the Minecraft Marketplace Pass, it's now even easier to access the latest, and blockiest, new content. This month's selection is simply fin-tastic, as it features one of my favorite videogame mechanics.
What makes Minecraft one of the best sandbox games available is the sheer amount that you can add and customize. You can spend hours crafting your perfect world block by block, or pick up some ready made items packages in the Marketplace to add a little extra sparkle to your creations.
But with so many options up for grabs, it's difficult to know where to start. Thankfully, the Minecraft Marketplace Pass is here to make choosing a little easier. Every month it showcases fresh adventures, worlds, add-ons, skins, and minigames, giving you access to try them all out for size as part of the subscription.
And I couldn't be more excited about this month's selection, which expands upon my all-time favorite in-game activity: fishing. Add-on Aquaculture gives you a much deeper fishing experience; just craft your equipment of choice - rod or harpoon, I don't judge - on the Angler's Crafting Table and set out to catch up to 59 different types of fish. Be wary though, not all of these catches will want to be friends, and not food.
Also up for grabs this month is Minecraft platformer One Slime Block Adventure. The world welcomes you and up to four other players to defeat the evil slime king and his minions. Defeat bosses, locate blocks of power, and put this sticky world back to rights to become the true hero of the slime world.
There's also a whole host other skins, worlds, and packs available as part of this month's subscription, including the Neon Teens skin, the Cute Pastels texture pack which offers, you guessed it, pastel colors for your world, as well as trendy character creator items like warden wings and warden boots.
Minecraft Marketplace Pass costs $3.99 / £3.29 a month, and gives players unlimited access to over 150 pieces of content, with new items, add-ons, skins and more being added every month. But be warned, the content is not available forever. Luckily, when it's set to disappear, an in-game counter will appear to give you the heads up before it vanishes.
