Nova-111 is a real-time and turn-based hybrid strategy launching this August on Steam. It’s from Funktronic Labs, a studio created by ex Q-Games developers Eddie Lee and Kalin, who previously worked on the PixelJunk series. Nova-111 shares those games’ sense of fun, with quirky, cartoon visuals and puzzling gameplay.
A sci-fi themed strategy, Nova-111 has players pilot an orange space ship through mysterious planets, solving puzzles and defeating enemies in turn-based combat.
“With Nova-111, we really wanted to create a fresh spin on the turn-based strategy genre and we have been completely blown away by the support and reception that we have received so far. We can’t wait to see what players think of our game,” said Eddie Lee, Co-founder of Funktronic Labs.
