Ori and the Blind Forest Definitive Edition pushed pack to 2016

ori blind forest delay

A “definitive edition” of Ori and the Blind Forest was intended to ship in 2015, featuring expanded content and changes made thanks to fan feedback. As you may be aware, there are very few days left of 2015, and predictably this means that the re-release won’t be here this year.

If you like your games with that more personal vibe, try one of the best indie games on PC.

Developer Moon Studios said on Twitterthat they “will have more news to share soon,” and that the game will release in Spring 2016. In the responses following the announcement, they also explained that the Definitive Edition will contain “New areas, new abilities, more story, more features, more EVERYTHING! Built with the same care and love as the original game”.

No details were provided to explain why the delay has happened. If you were desperate to play though, the original version was released in March and is in the Steam Winter Sale.

Thanks, Polygon.
