PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds will let you fine tune your character’s look soon

More character customisation options will be coming to PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds shortly. This is according to the game’s executive producer, Chang Han Kim, who was speaking on the subject in a recent interview.

“We plan to give our users much more control over character appearance by implementing Anticto’s Mutable character customisation system,”Han Kim says to PVP Live. “Soon, you will be able to design your character to a tee.”

At the moment, the only customisation options for your character in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds let you choose from a range of preset faces, skin tones, and hairstyles. It’s pretty limited.

But what developers Bluehole have been working on are ways to let you tweak those options further. Not only that, eventually, you should be able to place tattoos all over your character’s body. You’ll also be able to apply logos to your character’s clothes and select from a range of clothing interactions such as tucking in their shirt or letting it hang out.

As PVP Live point out, Bluehole previously discussed these character customisation ideas in a development video released back in November 2016. You can watch it below.

These customisation options will presumably be buffed out with the suits of armour, leather jackets, and trenchcoats that were previously datamined from the game. You’ll soon be looking sharp as heck in people’s scopes as they shoot at you from the distance.
