Konami appease wronged PES 2016 players with free EUFA Euro DLC

PES 2016

It’s been a trying time for PES 2016 devotees. Those who’ve bought into recent Data Packs have found expected items missing, as if they’d just picked up a second-hand copy of Monopoly from a charity shop. By way of apology, the PES Production team have decided to release their EUFA Euro 2016 content as an update for all. That means there’s Konami, Konami, Konami DLC for freeeeee [please sing to the tune of Manic Street Preachers’ Tsunami].

“It has been a difficult few months for the fans in how we have been delivering content in our recent Data Packs,” said Konami’s football & alliances director, Erik Bladinieres. “The PES Production team appreciate their fans and want to reward their support and bring back confidence in the Data Pack releases. With this announcement, we hope we can regain their trust.”

The next Data Pack is expected in early December, and will – will – include the Maracana stadium, more faces, new national team kits, club teams and extra players.

The exact contents of the UEFA pack have yet to be decided, but everything Euro delivered ahead of next year’s tournament will be free to existing players. That’s something, isn’t it?
