Factorio review snippet Are the aliens in Factorio scary?
The aliens are not scary, but they are interesting enemies, that will come down on you hard, if you don't understand how they work.

Dying Light review snippet How good an FPS is Dying Light?
There is not as much shooting involved, as the S in FPS suggests. While guns are an option, the game's focus is mostly on close combat and parcour. The guns feel solid, no complaints.

Zombie Army Trilogy review snippet How scary are the zombies in Zombie Army Trilogy?
I don't find zombies scary, I grew up on B movies and horror games. They are like hard rain or heavy snow, a force of nature. The Nazi zombies in this game are hilarious, but I'm German, maybe that's that.

Shadowrun Returns review snippet How much choice do you have in Shadowrun Returns?
1. You can have different character builds. 2. You can say different things during conversations, but I'm not sure it does much.

Final Fantasy XIII review snippet Is Final Fantasy XIII grindy?
In the old Final Fantasy tradition, FF13 is not grindy until you try to kill the optional bosses, then it turns into a long and boring grind.

Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes review snippet How does Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes reward teamplay?
If your team messes up, you lose. You can't really solo this game.

METAL GEAR RISING: REVENGEANCE review snippet How sneaky can you be in METAL GEAR RISING: REVENGEANCE?
It's different from the usual Metal Gear stealth. You don't try to escape once you've triggered an alarm, you just go on.

Resident Evil HD REMASTER review snippet How scary are the zombies in Resident Evil HD REMASTER?
The zombies in the Remaster are probably as scary as RE zombies get. I'm not sure, why people find zombies scary. As in every RE, the zombies are the standard obstacle, I'd really worry more about whatever other creatures you might encounter. However, the Remake makes killing zombies even worse than letting them roam the house, because if you don't kill them with a headshot (RNGsus) or burn them (limited flammable supplies), they come back even stronger.

Why do gamers stop playing Borderlands 2 after playing for many hours
Repetition. Whilst Borderlands frequently swaps zones and provides new encounters, mission design is largely the same throughout the game, and often enemy design repeats too. Playing solo also hinders the experience.

Borderlands 2 review snippet Borderlands 2 has a huge range of DLC. What's worth buying, and what's worth ignoring?
1. The Story DLC are gold. 2. The character DLC "Psycho Pack" and "Mechromancer Pack" add new, interesting characters. 3. The "Game of the Year Edition" contains: "Borderlands 2, Borderlands 2 - Captain Scarlett and her Pirate's Booty, Borderlands 2 - Psycho Pack, Borderlands 2: Collector's Edition Pack, Borderlands 2: Creature Slaughterdome, Borderlands 2: Mechromancer Pack, Borderlands 2: Mr. Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage, Borderlands 2: Sir Hammerlock’s Big Game Hunt, Borderlands 2: Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep, Borderlands 2: Ultimate Vault Hunters Upgrade Pack" This is the interesting stuff. You don't really need anything else. 4. If you played through everything and don't want to play another game but stick with BL2, get "Borderlands 2: Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 2", it's on the thin line between scam and content, it lifts the level cap and adds content. Since it's not part of the GotY and the game acts up in MP, if the DLC don't match between players, only buy this, if you're sure you need it. 5. The "Headhunter" addons add quests. I find 2.99 per pack a bit too expensive. This is basically more of the same for a lot of money. 6. The 0.99 priced DLC only add skins. Buying those is en par with admitting, that you don't have a clue, what you should do with your money.

What do you mean by "Mech Warrior spiritual successor"? It has always been "BattleTech", Mech Warrior is just the name of the action shooter sub series.

Resident Evil Revelations 2 / Biohazard Revelations 2 review snippet How gory is Resident Evil Revelations 2 / Biohazard Revelations 2?
There is blood, there are a few intense depictions of violence, but bodies usually stay intact, if it's not some mutant, that ends up being a puddle of meat.
