well, technically it is biased, because if Trump didn't win, this article wouldn't exist. however that wasn't the point I was going for at all.
the point I was trying to make was about the fact that more and more articles are downright click-bait and riddled with SEO keyword cancer, speaking of cancer, those year old posts showing that they were posted a few hours ago because somebody added a paragraph to it, all without putting any highlight/indication of said additions.
fair point about the esports / moba gets a patch posts, as somebody who does play some of those games this is the last place I'd consider checking for patchnotes because there aren't even any categories, everything is just thrown together into one pile. which is also one of the reasons I absolutely loathe this type of post, because I have to scroll past it in the hopes of finding something I'd be interested in.
take that as you will, that's just my opinion of it.
To address your first point, most news posts depend on the linear progression of time causing events to happen, yes.
And our patch posts do have sections.
Whoooooops, yes that's correct, will fix it now.
On the list it goes.
picking through to link to comments we were happy exposing people to was ... challenging
Yeah, that seems to be the general plot. What's weird is map hacks etc. never seemed to run rampant out of PC bangs when StarCraft, League were on top.
I'd hazard a guess that autoaim programs are just significantly easier to implement, or give you a greater advantage. In Blizzard's defence OW is certainly not the only FPS to experience cheating, and maybe it's the popularity of the game that seem to inflate these reports making it seem like a bigger issue than it is.

Cyberpunk being next year would shock me to my core
Absolutely, But that was the only thing to come to mind when thinking of games i'm looking forward to. Give me some Dota2, Eve Online and Titanfall and i'll be happy as Larry.
Hey! Thanks muchly for this, added a few in. Somehow forgot Eldar Jetbikes actually had a name, or that Dire Avengers even existed. Been a decade or so since I did Space Marines vs. Eldar on a friend's carpet...
Have you got a link for the Dreadnought Elite interview and the screenshots of the other Eldar heroes?
No worries mate!
You can see the unnamed Howling Banshee hero here at 0m 20s:
Here is confirmation from one of the community managers on the Ven. Dread:
the "ranger" hero can be seen here near the shadowspectres on the left. He has a white/grey ponytail and a long rifle: http://imgur.com/a/v8DXG
Edit: Dire Avenger --> Howling Banshee.
Their pace of content release is actually very quick, and on-par with League of Legends in gameplay terms. Two new heroes in six months, plus maps, plus game modes, plus more in development, plus a semi-constant PTR with major redesigns and tweaks at all times.
maybe, but it still feels reeeally slow, also, I remember in the past, when LoL was in early stages, they even announced 3 champs in a row! And having a pool of over 110 heroes, it's normal to slow down to a hero every 3 months or even more.. now lets talk about 23.
