Mei is Bae
Wow, ok. I get that the vocal minority is what usually shows up, but I couldn't disagree more. There is no comparison between the two men. One is the successful visionary of what continue to be great games, the other got kicked out of his own failing company twice.
And which is which again?
Something tells me Ilfonic won't be working on the game much longer.
It would be nice if it would lock, but I believe clicking on the hero portrait centers on you until you scroll again.
Blasting away dudes with the shotgun in Heist mode feels great. I've really enjoyed it. The maps seem really detailed too compared what I'm used to with Battlefield.
I think it's supposed to be for cinematic reasons, not that I wouldn't change it.
Stop that. 30fps does not give a cinematic feeling. There's no such thing as a cinematic feeling in a video game.
When will people stop accepting the bullshit excuses these devs feed them?
And this is why PR bullshit exists, because the honest answer is "unacceptable."
Nobody's castigating him for being honest.
However, that doesn't change the nature of the answer. And in general there are always a crap-tonne of "honest" answers that it's right to find fault with. I was about to give examples, but to be honest I'm sure you've already thought of a few yourself.
PR spin or not isn't the issue. The question being asked after that isn't "why would you say that?" so much as "why did this situation even come to pass in the first place?" And unless he had given a really good reason to the initial query, that's a question that was always going to follow regardless.
Judging by pretty much every games website I've seen today, more than a few found the response wanting. Leaving aside whether you feel Ubisoft's in the right here for a second, in any topic of discussion if you've got issue with the response, it's right to question it, not just drop and not bother after that because at least the answer was honest.
Trying to be #1 leads to a compromised a game in the name of sales. Battlefield shouldn't be #1, it's supposed to be more team-oriented, and only arcade shooters will ever be #1.
Uh counter-strike is a more of a team oriented shooter than battlefield, and it was the most-played FPS game for 4 years. Had more players than battlefield 1942, and all the arcade shooters of the era too.
