This is written so poorly. I'm pretty sure what you're talking about, but let me just verify as everything leading up to the middle of the article is vague; you're reporting about the PC version of Halo Wars 2, correct? Not the physical copies of the Xbox One version?
Joel Gregory Avatar

Yep, PC version as we're a PC site!

**PLEASE NOTE**

There are currently problems redeeming these codes - possibly due to a change in beta dates - which we are looking into at the moment. Apologies for any inconvenience.Reply

"That’s right, and that’s why I don’t think Play Anywhere is for every game, because you will have games that are console-only and you will have games that are PC-only."

Can someone tell me what a console only game is? Because that comment is very confusing
Joel Gregory Avatar

He just meant that some games feel more at home on console and some feel more at home on PC. Easier to think of examples of the latter - Total War, for instance - that the former, admittedly.

I think there's a degree of truth in this, but I genuinely do think the bosses are easier on the whole. I was able to use my starting sword for the whole game!

It's the Dunning-Kruger effect; you're underestimating your own skill level and passing it off to the game. Just because you're not a onebro doesn't mean you're a total noob either. The game may very well be easier but you (and I) are not in a position to objectively verify that.

If you really want to check you need to find a newbro and have them play the beginnings of both.

Hey guys,

As the widget says, there's still some time left to enter. Once the competition closes we'll send out the codes, so watch your inboxes. If nothing shows up, better luck next time!

Have you noticed that according to the widget timer the Beta key giveaway ends at approx 11pm on the 18th. That's 15 hours AFTER the beta actually starts. Just thought you should know :)

Nope, not a paid for article - we just have an opinion.

And seeing as the game is out in just over six weeks and we've played it for numerous hours, certain value judgements don't seem outrageous at this point.

I want this to be good. These guys made World in Conflict and that is one of my favorite PC games. May I ask, did you have access to the actual PVE portion with some campaign missions? Do you know if the access you had will differ from the beta that starts on 1/29/16? I'm just wondering because I got access and I'm hoping it's not all PVP.

Grand Theft Auto V review snippet How open is Grand Theft Auto V to explore?
As open as… something really open. Basically it's completely open from pretty much the start of the game, allowing you to go anywhere and everything within its utterly vast map.

METAL GEAR SOLID V: THE PHANTOM PAIN review snippet How realistic are the horses in METAL GEAR SOLID V: THE PHANTOM PAIN?
They definitely *look* like horses, and the share certain bodily functions, but realism clearly wasn't top of the agenda. Unless real horses can't actually be killed and can appear instantly out of thin air when whistled. I don't know - I haven't been around them very much.
