I'm with you 100%. I mean, Bethesda is the company that literally started this DLC nonsense. All I'm saying is of all the problems with this Valve being greedy is at the bottom. The only people that are for this are the ones that might see a profit. Don't even get me started on that Gary's Mod dude.
We know Bethesda want paid horse armors, and this was a great way for them to do just that, now people are paying for horse armor.
Valve should never have started with Bethesda, as the majority of the mods for Skyrim is useless by self(most are nothing but cosmetic armors, and not what most look at proper mods), the vast majority is just a community version of horse armor, with a few mods that is pretty big, and worth some money.
What Valve should have done, it's a lot more work of course, and not as easy, is that they should help modders who make actual great mods. Like Cry of Fear(already on Steam) Black Mesa, Project Reality, Nehrim and Out of Hell ect, give them a proper place on Steam, help them with deals with the developers of the games used, and let people pay for that, proper mods, who changes the game(or in some cases, makes new games), instead of a bunch of horse armor pieces and crow bars you add to the real mod for the lulz or something.
As Gabe has said, they want help the modders, but they are currently helping more cosmetic producers then proper modders.
wasn't it DOA that let people shake the DS3 pad to move the fighters tits? and now they are saying they want people to us a sense of tact and decorum, they are in no place to tell people how to act when they make a game that has spent more time on breast physics than anything else.
It's not about nudity. It's about not putting copyrighted content from others into their game, and about not unlocking DLC for free with mods. The original article all this is taken from is based on speculation based on information that makes no sense.
Hopefully this means nothing for Creative Assembly or Relic and just means they're cutting the shite like Sonic Boom.
I think the cuts being done here is to Sega it self.
It'll probably not effect studios like CA, Relic and Sports Interactive as it would more then likely be more profitable to keep them or sell the studios them self then trying to cut down on them.
From what I understand, this is about rising awareness at an education level mostly. Make more women and minorities to actually choose that education path, not about hiring random black due, or random black woman, or random woman.
That one will be easy enough, with the current state of gaming industry and its popularity, it would just take them to make some plan for cheap or free studies for game development and people would rush it just to be part of the current movement.
Maybe you just don't know how sexism looks like? Look up #everydaysexism on twitter to learn about examples. By the way, this hashtag is a UK project and definitely not restricted to the US.
I don't think you quite read the comment i answered.
"Has anyone of you guys who are not from the US encountered any hostility towards women who talked about feminist points of view ?"
I don't say there is no sexism here, I said there is very few, if any that are hostile towards feminists. Norway is however on the forefront of equal rights for men and women, which might also be the reason we don't have any of these nutcases like her, because she is fucking insane.
No, never, but we don't have extreme cases like this woman in my country either. Maybe genders is a big thing in the US tho compared to most other countries.
Just to clarify: you wouldn’t be allowed to bring a backpack, but you could bring a gun with you.
Really, sounds like a great thing, and progress.
So, they aint even counting the extra (not quite) Third of the market share off? Jesus...PR makes me sick.
They shouldn't tho. Would be a bit like this:
Hey! You didn't release on a platform? Here, take a damn reward, good boy.
