I kind of miss the Mako, that thing was a tank. It could take a serious beating and drive straight up a mountain when needed. The only time I really have any issues is occasionally we would just be cruising along some relatively flat land, then hit a small bump that would flip the Mako over and completely upside down. I am interested to see how they improved things with the Nomad, but I really hope they do more to fix the terrain and not have those weird flippy bumps.
Or try to quicksave before bombing that market...
Or taking a real life(s)

Damn, I miss his Black & White and Fable 1 days.
I'll never understand people who hate Fable 2 and Fable 3. It seems like a hipster thing. Hatin' to hate because it's cool. I could understand if it was some ubiquitous, common thing that's everywhere, and it's something that the world is saturated with at the expense of all else. I could understand if it was something that was just overwriting everything else with its popularity, so other things were dying out.
The thing is is that the Fable games (including 2 and 3) were the opposite of that. They always felt like they had an identity to them that was given by their creators, they weren't phoned in. They were delightful in that they knew what they wanted to be. It was a rebellious stubbornness that kept them going, they're like video game punks. They didn't care that they weren't commonplace or that they didn't have massive mainstream appeal. They were what they were. And what they were was genuinely unique and quite unlike anything else.
To me, hating the Fable games would be like hating Vampire Bloodlines. It's just something that leaves me scratching my head.
But I know it's hip to hate niche things. Especially things that aren't overly bloody, and violent, and don't compel you to be a total dick all the time. Doubly so since the characters, for a change, also weren't douchebags.
I'm tired of that kind of thing. Fable was just fun, it was heartwarming, hopeful, uplifting, and fun. It was unusual, strange, and unfamiliar in how it behaved and played, but that never made it wrong. It just made it different.
I hate this idea of hating something because it's different. There's a lot of that toxicity going through the UK right now.
I guess I'm just not a fan of that. That's not me.
To be honest, this hate for Molyneux gets under my skin. He's a visionary, and people are incredibly stupid in that they take everything literally. They can't tell his hefty dreams and aspirations from the reality he's able to achieve, but that he wants to keep trying is to be admired, not resented. Unless you're envious, that is.
I'm just getting a feel for a lot of bad emotions in this. Envy, hatred of the unfamiliar, that kind of thing. Molyneux is a creator. You're not supposed to take everything at face value.
Why must gamers always be so bloody literal?
Guh, I'm getting that feeling in my stomach again because I'm reminded of Mass Effect 3 and how gamers couldn't understand that the green stuff in Synthesis was meant to be symbolic, not to be taken literally. And very few gamers understood that.
Glad I'm not a gamer, honestly. I'm just a person who plays video games as entertainment.
But this toxic resentmnet, no, I don't agree with it. Not even with Godus. Godus is popular on mobiles and with a casual audience. That's fine. Let them have it. It's not like that audience is trying to overwrite EVERYTHING in the way mainstream entertainment often does, is it?
Previous games forced you to conform to a certain personality and if you didnt conform to it throughout you lost the ability to choose relevant dialogue options to effect better outcome so neutralish character was always worse off than a raging psycho shephard or a goody two shoes one.
