I think that is the big difference between the Elder Scrolls games and all the rest. The Witcher is telling Garalt's story - in Skyrim it is telling your story. I'm not saying one is better than the other, just different.
Excellent point, I'd forgotten about the X's high refresh support. I've changed the wording there.
I'm guessing the queues will die down as more and more people realize they've seen everything the game has to offer in the first few minutes.
Ooo, Prince of Persia for sure! That would be awesome. I really enjoyed the 2008 version, maybe a continuation of that.
Seems to be getting either love it or not reviews. Never a bad thing to revisit games sometimes.
I believe so. I tried it out just after release for about 5 minutes just to see how it would look and run. I'll give it a more though run-through tonight (and note ALL my settings) and report back.
My bad... I did have it at Highest (although it's not really the highest Lighting can go 1 higher). But it looks like the tutorial for fighting is much less intensive than the actual game which I had not tried out. Once I get into the real game my frames drop similar to this review.
Interestingly my Physx GPU is never getting touched so either they are forcing everything to run through the CPU or on the GPU. Looks like they have some room for optimizations if they wanted to.
I can run it at "2K" with everything at the highest and it looks great.
