I hope this is just a one-off joke article, because if this is the direction this site is headed, with political news about shit from literally a decade ago, I'm done. if I wanted that, I'd stick to RPS.

We're not about to move into political news, though we have occasionally touched on politics where it intersects with gaming, e.g. the US travel ban and its impact on the dev scene over there.

In this instance we just thought it was a bit interesting that someone who is now one of the most influential people on the planet once invested in trading WoW gold.

I'm almost upset that when you referenced Firefly nowadays it's required to explain it in context. A "cyberpunk Wild West" really doesn't do justice to the most wasteful TV cancellation ever. Unfortunately, the cast and director for the original were too good, so nobody is willing to try and remake the series whilst expectations are so high. That's not to say I wish it was any worse. more that I wish it wasn't cancelled in the first place...

I'm with you Richard, Elementary is superior to Sherlock imo. Jonny Lee Miller cuts a highly believable, brilliant but insecure Holmes. Cumberbatch seems like an emotionless, calculating automaton by comparison. Plus, Elementary's writing team are always bang up to date in the contemporary themes they explore... difficult for Sherlock to replicate when the BBC are producing only four shows a year.

Nailed it. All these points work together: as good as Cumberbatch is, Miller is better, partially because he has more to work with, and it's all really well-written.
