Rowan the Roman has recently been playing Kingdom Come: Deliverance

I guess you have to be a hardcore player of TF2 in the first place, along with lacking the I (and possibly E) part of the PIES brain intelligence model juuust enough to be able to overlook its many, many problems (ethical and otherwise). Meanwhile, I am enjoying Starbound's 1.0 release.
Nice for people who like it, but it'll never stop leaving a bad taste in my mouth. Too much sly, surreptitious sexism for my liking, that just goes over the heads and under the radar of those who're less I in PIES. Which is by far my favourite model for how the intelligences work, did I mention?

Nah, it is TF2 with the addition of abilities and more strictly defined character roles. Which for someone who got really sick of the quantity of weapons added to TF2 is great. The most unusual part about it is probably the amount of movement freedom available and the amount of verticality in the combat. The character having backstories and interacting with each other is just a good bonus.

It is somewhat probably that the artist who drew Sivir wanted to draw her winding up to throw than impossibly huge metal throwing glaive which appears to be heavier than she is. I say this as that picture looks a great deal like an attempt at counterbalancing without resorting to hammer throw stance. Impractical weapons lead to artwork with odd poses while the artist tries to work out how someone would use the weapon.
The artist who drew headhunter Nidalee appears to have wanted to get an indication of her transformation, note the ghostly lion superimposed over her.
Also worth noting that backstory is ignored on a great number of skins in favor of giving over to a gimmick, why would Cho'gath be wearing a top hat? why not, it is funny.
And now to mention the topic with possibly the biggest divide. There is nothing inherently wrong about sexy skins and just because a character looks sexy doesn't mean people will view them as objects. Some people see looking sexy as a a way of expressing confidence and power. The only issue I see is the comparatively low number of male skins using the same principle, off the top of my head only pool party graves, most of draven's skins and gladiator xin. If you take into account the principle of "art reflects life" skimpy clothing for characters in modern media really isn't a surprise.
Eventually it all comes down to personal preference with the only objective way of measuring a skin I can think of being how much is different e.g. texture?model+texture?model+texture+voice? etc. However even then you could still make a skin that many people didn't like. The best approach they can take is by far the option of creating diverse skins for each character as that gives players options. Hell if you have people cos-playing a skin there must be people who like the skin.Reply

I suspect that the reason is that it is incredibly difficult to create a realistic representation of it because of how it is composed in reality. Think about it, most things can be made to look rather good using good quality texturing. This doesn't work for hair because in reality hair isn't a single thing. It's thousands of individual entities forming a general structure.
This makes it a really good demo item and it only becomes a better one when you consider that it is something that people can relate to easily as they can compare it to reality.

Er, in what way is it blocked in the UK? I had never heard of the site before not but being in the UK I thought it worth checking if it were blocked. No errors getting to it and it certainly looks like it is the right site.
Would you please clarify in what way the site is "blocked in the UK".

How much do omnidirectional treadmills help? I realise the cost is prohibitive.
ReplyThey're probably not the best solution, because the mechanics only really allow for basic direction inputs (think about using a Mouse instead of an Analogue stick for movement)
