Secret Koalas In Lacey Lingerie
You ask me why I would make a great leader of these varied lands? Lend me your ears and I shall tell you. I've walked the vast expanses of apocalyptic deserts, the frozen peaks from which dragons perch, urban ruins of civilizations past, and ash covered wastelands from where there is no mercy of flying creatures known as Cliff Racers. I know what it takes for a people to thrive in these environments, and I'm willing to do everything in my power to ensure we're those people. Besides, how can you say no to the man who left spoons on the foreheads of his victims in Morrowind?
Being in an Arma 2 Realism unit that uses the ACE mod and ACRE radios will get you as close to a firefight as you can get without joining the military. It's so immersive you can't help but crank your headset as loud as you can (Which gave me tinnitus after about a year, so I had to cut back on my volume, luckily it went away after a few weeks)
It's hard to pick a single moment out of what is essentially non stop co-op awesomeness, but I'd have to go with when I filled in the Rifleman slot for a different Fireteam who was a member short, which put me in the front as we were walking down through a valley. I saw a guy beyond some trees a few hundred meters down at the bottom of the mountain and keyed up over voice to the Fireteam leader who was behind me that "It looks like there's some contacts down--" and then they opened up on us. Cracks of supersonic rounds flying over head, whizzes as they fly past, large plooms of dust kicking up from the ground impacts... Everyone hit their prone buttons and just returned fire in the direction we were being shot at from. Shouting over directional chat from various members of the three 4-man fire teams that made up the squad, faint and impossible to make out over all the loud gunfire. Smoke grenades were popped from our spot all the way down the valley to the nearest hard cover, which were trees and small terrain features. Our fire team sat where we were, masked in the smoke, and just fired through it as the other teams ran by. Once they got to the edge of the smoke, they popped their own and began firing through it as we got up and ran by
Anyway, this comment is long enough. We bounded down the valley until we reached the small village, and we cleared it out, building by building, room by room.
Just an average day in Arma. The Fireteam leader being a former Marine (As were a LOT of the members of the unit) really can set the tone
I'd put a row of PC's outside and have them addicted to gaming. I'd call it a Tuesday
Gabe Newell to run it, so corporate greedy hands stay out of the way of customer experience
Josh Parnell - He's the prodigy behind the upcoming indie game Limit Theory. The guy does in a month what most companies struggle to do, on his own. And he does it well, from programming AI to gorgeous visuals
Todd Howard - Sexiest face in gaming. If we're seeding an entire planet, having it at the top is just a smart choice
