I absolutely agree with the difference in scale. And that the scale makes it worse. Though that is the only difference I see. I could be very biased since I really love the internet and what it is. I just don't see how you can say the "the internet" is a problem.
People die to automobiles, are they the problem? People die from heart disease and type 2 diabetes. Is food the problem?
I see your point and I agree, the internet is great.
I think there's a more direct correlation here than the examples (or any number of others), where the internet is so closely tied to people being dicks, and how easy it is to hunt people down using it.
I also think "well that's just how people are whatchagonnado" is too often used as an excuse to not try to fix problems. That's a whole separate issue though, and not necessarily connected to Dustin's somewhat throw-away line.
Agreed. People haven't changed, just the medium.
You say that but they banned DrDisrepect for teamkilling.
Different situation entirely - DrDisrespect personally offended thd game's creator. Much as I empathize when PU, the way he banned DrDisrespect was fair. The way he reacted afterwards is more a symbol of PUBG's internal corruption than anything else.
Yes, it is (was?).
