Really? This defense again?
If I drop $100 on loot which would take someone, let's say, 100 hours hours to earn, you're saying that's not paying for a benefit?
Give me a break... That's undeniably paying for an advantage. It's a crime repeatedly committed by game developers because it brings in lots of money.
Try playing a game that takes pay2win to the extreme. You should have seen planetside2 on launch month. People dropped hundreds of dollars and earned weapons and vehicles upgrades which would take literally thousands of hours to earn otherwise. Developers will argue all options including defaults are equally viable. That can be argued as true, but the more options you have to use ( for example the same weapons but of each element in Destiny) increases your effectiveness that much.
There are many better ways to further monetize Destiny 2. Additional strikes, raids, PvP areas and archetypes, and so forth is where focus should be. Charge a premium and people will pay it.
But giving people the option to fork over lots of cash for gambling chance at advantage long before others could earn such rewards is not cool.
I've never in all my years testing hardware found a TN screen with anywhere near the clarity, contrast or colour reproduction a good IPS or VA panel is capable of. The closest they've gotten have been some of the 4K TN panels.
I haven't seen the S2716DG in person, but I doubt the AUO TN can really beat the latest AUO AH-IPS panel. It might get close, but the IPS screen is truly beautiful.
I expect, like with any game, there's a lot of people who aren't excited for it. I think it's brilliant and will be one of the biggest games of the year, others clearly have no interest.
Try Dirty Bomb on steam, its free and better than Overwatch up to now IMO.
