Unfortunately TES has ceased to be an intellectual property and has mutated into a franchise. We'll be seeing themed hamburgers before we get another game.
Which says that you're metaphorically willing to hurt people to make a point about something you don't like. On a more realistic scale, it implies that you'd hurt feelings and damage people emotionally just to get your dom on. I can't share that in common with you, to me it's just a fascinating facet of depravity I can only observe.
I second this motion.
I was sure this was going to be trash, but the beta more than pleasantly surprised me. A little disappointing that it really was just an unabashed Left 4 Dead xerox, and I don't mean "inspired by," I mean like "whoah ho ho, they're not even pretending here", but still really cool and fun, strong impact, nice visuals, good VA. Left 5 Rats might actually be that rarest of today's endangered beasts: a Warhammer game worth playing.
Yea I know absolutely nothing about the Warhammer universe and I bought this mainly as a distraction until Fallout 4 comes out, but this game is just plain fun...it helps that I have 500+ hours between L4D 1 and 2, and this absolutely clones the L4D gameplay in the best way possible.
Still have the Star Citizen auto-downvote bot running, I see. Good for you. For the record though, I don't actually have any strong feelings about the potential game. It might come out and be amazing, or it might come out and be quite good, or just kind of decent, or it might be awful, or it might never see the light of day while people keep pumping disgusting quantities of money into it. We don't know, and neither, pointedly, do the guys who dropped a thousand bucks on an imaginary status symbol they might get to pretend to fly one day.
I hate MMO's that just shove grind into your face. I'm okay with MMO's that make the grind, not seem like a grind. I tried WS at launch, and I get exactly what you're saying. I tried ArcheAge as well, and again, I get what you're saying.
BUT, I recently got into the beta for the F2P WS transistion and... I was pleasantly surprised.. Comparing it to launch, at least for me, I was mindblown. Everything was streamlined, not so much A-B-A questing, I *couldn't tell IF at any point I was grinding*, because I am actually having fun. Yeah, that's right, I'm having fun. Bringing a friend or 2 helps.
My point being, try it(again) ;)
