I'm looking forward to The Surge. Have you gotten a date for the review embargo yet?
Jordan Forward Avatar

Hi there, the embargo drops tonight at 11PM British Summer Time. We'll have a full written review and a performance analysis going up at the same time. Enjoy!

How the heck can Nyx shoot anything with her hair in front of her face? What's next? A cyclops champion with no depth perception.

It's quite the fringe.

Wow, gaming like it used to be. Will you be queueing overnight outside a shop to get a copy?
Jordan Forward Avatar

Queuing up at midnight to get a box with a download code inside is the modern-day equivalent, right?

There are a few hacks to get around it, I've seen plenty of accidental Fuze TKs of 2+, too. These kills were spaced out across the match's starting phase so it's hard to put any really specific time-frame on it - I wasn't aware of what was even going on until I'd been killed.

I've also experienced this on Terrorist Hunt, though it wasn't the whole team that was killed, and the guy got banned by BattlEye before the match ended. Similar intention.

Sheltered review snippet How bleak is the end of the world in Sheltered?
About as bleak as you'd expect it to be. There's all the usual: cannibalism, abandonment, murder, hopelessness etc. All the post-apocalyptic miseries are there, but when you don't care for the characters it's all just scenery.

This review was based on a full release build I was given access to by Team 17. It's not a review of the Early Access version of the game. Hope that clears things up.

Cheers, for the comment!

To my knowledge it hasn't been released in Korea yet, so I doubt 2016 will be the year... Still will continue hoping for an announcement of translation though :)

War Thunder review snippet What's your favourite tank in War Thunder and why?
The StuG III tank destroyer is my favourite tank so far. It's gun is devastating and it's low, sloped superstructure makes it both hard to take out and visually unique.

War Thunder beginner's guide: the best tier 1 tanksWar Thunder beginner's guide: the best tier 1 tanks
Jordan Forward Avatar

Hi MrJinxed,

Thanks for the comment! The inclusion of the Pz.Kpfw. IV Ausf. C over the E version is due to its accessibility to newcomers and the marginal difference between the two in terms of their combat potential.

With regards to the M3 Lee and the M3 Motor Carriage: the two are not similar enough to make any worthwhile comparison, the M3 Lee is certainly an excellent tank, but no more so than the Motor Carriage when used to its full potential.

Finally the T17E2: an excellent vehicle but by no means too powerful seeing as its armour is so vulnerable and it is easily visible when firing.

Reply
MrJinxed Avatar

That doesn't make any sort of sense, Jordan.

Your list is for the BEST tier 1 tanks (which with the inclusion of the motor carriage should be vehicles but whatever), not where in the tier they are. It's not the earlier than late tier 1 list.

The M3 Lee is certainly different, but again your list was best tier 1 vehicles.

As for the T17E2, I'm not sure you have really played with it or against it, because it's super powerful. And yes it's armor is weak, but so is every single tank in the tier. They're all paper thin, and you have 2x 50 cals which can penetrate any other tank in the tier with no problems, meaning you can shoot really fast over long distances and just wrecking face.

Just Cause(TM) 3 review snippet How much fun are the weapons in Just Cause(TM) 3?
Just Cause 3's arsenal is mixed, and not all the weapons are satisfying to use. While rocket launchers and grenades reward the player with a dazzling firework display, assault rifles, handguns and SMGs are decidedly lacking any punch.
