giving it a though, doing Valkyrie battles alongside major EVE battle could be quite problematic, as many big EVE battles include heavy time dilatation in order to ease the heavy load on servers, so I'm pretty curious how they figure it out. And on the other hand, big battles dont happen everyday, so connecting those two could be quite problematic.
Good point. Time dilation would be a bit of a mood killer in a space sim. I wonder how they will interact then. If it's all in separate instances, merely having an effect in Eve, it kind of takes the edge off it.
you should probably fix this article, this game will not be Oculus Rift exclusive, as It is destined for both Oculus VR and Project morpheus.
Maybe a statment that "Valkyrie will be exclusive for Oculus Rift on PC platform" would be lot more acurate and not false..
Looks like a huge Deus Ex: Human Revolution ripoff. And I dont say that because I dont like the new Call of Duty series (1 and 2 were great, but starting with MW it went deep down..)
Edit: totally forgot about Blacklight, this is definitelly more Blacklight Retribution ripoff than DE HR.. which is pretty sad since they are ripping of their direct competition, which is even better than their previous games, even tho its free 2 play..
the EVE Valkyrie will be exclusively for Oculus VR platform, so only with Oculus Rift, other VR systems will not be supported.
To answer the question, you will not be able to play Valkyrie without Oculus Rift VR headset.
is that why their site say it will work with morpheus?
hope they sell it to somebody who wants it, not leave it in the basement
hope not, better to leave it in basement for 5-10 years and finishing it after that than seeing the games potetial ruined by some amateurs, cause there are only two game developers worthy of this challenge, and I guess Valve has enough of its own work
From this trailer, It looks the player controlled Jumpgates are coming Soon(TM).
At least sooner than I thought...
