its manipulative, plain and simple. Only in 2017 could statistical data be called a "false narrative". but I expect no less from Activision.
2020 is best, or 2019.... ever since it's announcement, they have a transparent development team and transparent work of development. It's great that they keep on showing progress, and show how healthy it is, dispute how people are doubtful about the game and saying silly shit to downgrade it's reputation.
You can't just say "no one should download it" without a reason for why they shouldn't.
The sad thing is people will.
I know people who bought GTA V 3 times. At least they can't do that with RDR2 until the remaster on the PS5/Xbox Whatever.
Got all of them DRM free from GOG. I knew when they took them from GOG it was coming to Steam. I don't even see any improvements for the user.
I grabbed them off of GOG when they were giving them away for free. I noticed a couple years about they began using timeslip's patches and engine tweaks, which surprised me. I suppose these new Steam versions are too.
