I was surprised when I found the 8350 recommended. The i5 4670k and 3570k really outperform it. The 8350 is really quad-core, even though AMD owners don't like to admit it XD

The stock clocks on the 8350 get you 9,084 marks, where as the 4670k and 3570k get 7,115 and 6,990 marks respectively.
I have my 8350 Oc'd to 4.5ghz (266mhz bus x 17multi w/ 2600 htlink) and it gets 10,500 marks. My old 8150 oc'd to 4.67ghz got 9,950. So technically... both of these cpu's can outperform either of those i5's without really too much effort.
