No, don't stress that, They shows us Productivity work before gaming, and everyone knows you do not use a 8 core 16 threaded CPU just for gaming, 99% of games are not optimized for that and the 1%'s are like Mafia 3 and Watch Dogs 2
In terms of performance AMD is not optimized in the market, meaning Microcode on the Architecture as well as in gaming applications, its pretty much the same thing when you get Nvidia optimized games and AMD optimized games, it depends on the Microcode and if it's optimized for it. If Ryzen was Delayed til later this year it would be performing better but I don't blame AMD for wanting it to come out now because of money sake and because the hype around Ryzen, and it did live up to the hype, the only misleading thing is gaming performance as well as overclocking.
Ryzen 3 and 5 are coming out next month and should show some better performance for 1080p gaming due to the bios updates on the motherboards and ram stability since Ryzen is weird when it comes to RAM, you do see better performance on higher clocked RAM then lower clocked RAM, but to take away from this all, it's a new architecture and needs time to develop to its maximum,In a few months Ryzen will show its colors more.
Potential cpu bottleneck, i was just looking at videos and it is 100% cpu usage on a 6700k
It's a matter of preference, I have never had an issue with AMD products what so ever, I've always found Nvidia products to be Gimmicky with only certain cards to really stand out to me, i stress the word Gimmick because, correct me if im wrong, back when the 700 series dropped Nvidia was really stretching for overclocking cards which can either give you a good or bad impression of how the card is clock per clock you know, now what's more interesting is someone took i think a 980ti can compared it to a 1080 clock per clock i believe and they were pretty much the same speeds in terms of FPS, I've always found AMD giving Raw power to people but the only draw back being the AMD drivers for DX11 but for the start of the 200 series AMD is really trying to get there act together with the driver support, more interesting as well, i remember when the fury XX came out trying to go againts the titan X and 980ti and the performance wasnt close enough at all plus the 4 gigs of VRAM limitation on the card, but now in allot of games due to the drivers the fury X is getting more FPS then those cards are and even the 1070 in allot of scenarios since a 980ti is just a 1070 tbh, watching AMD grow is great but Nvidia always puts me in a weird state where i cannot see myself getting a Nvidia card at all, if someone gave me a titan X ( pascal) I'd probably sell it due to the fact that it will lose driver support and will be outclased next year by the next big Nvidia card or hopefully when Vega drops for AMD
looking forward to this game coming to the us
Allot of people don't realize that blizzard and Mythic did the same thing with Warcraft and War-hammer with the RTS going into an mmo
the overall idea sounds great but i dont know how XL has shown the greatness of the game hopefully we can see some gameplay soon
