Remedy have two new games in the pipeline, but no Alan Wake

Alan Wake

Remedy Entertainment, the studio behind the first two Max Payne games and the more recent Quantum Break, have revealed they are working on two brand new games. The announcement came in the form of an official studio blog post written by Remedy’s head of communications, Thomas Puha.

More new games? Here are the best upcoming PC games.

For starters, Puha stated that Remedy is being split into two development teams which will be working the new titles. “For a while now already, we’ve been developing a brand new Remedy game with a new partner. Our second team is working on an early concept, which will turn into another Remedy game sometime in the future” revealed Puha.

While the announcement of two upcoming titles is good news from such a significant studio, the blog post shot down any hopes that we’ll be seeing either of them this year, “If there’s anything we’ve learned from the past, it’s that we should have the patience to announce games when they’re ready enough. So don’t expect us to take the stage at E3 or gamescom this year”.

Alan Wake fans will be saddened to hear that neither of the two games in development are Alan Wake titles, though Puha did add that Remedy is “exploring opportunities in other mediums to tell more Alan Wake stories”.
