Red Dead Redemption II is all about a close-knit gang of outlaws who’ve supported one another for years. NBC sitcom Friends is all about a close-knit group of twentysomethings who supported each other through a decade-long sitcom run. Yes, you probably already see where I’m going with this. The crossover we’ve all been waiting for is finally here.
The Van Der Linde gang stars in this rendition of the Friends opening, as Dutch, Arthur, John, Hosea, Lenny, and Sadie sub in for Ross, Rachel, Monica, Phobbe, Joey, and Chandler. For whatever reason Javier, Bill, and Charles are all lumped together and Sean is shoehorned in at the end, but hey – the Red Dead 2 cast is a lot bigger than that of Friends.
Oh, and Uncle is simply credited as Lumbago in perhaps the very best touch. The video was made by YouTuber Gruppy and brought to our attention by Alex Avard on Twitter. As noted in the office today, John and Abigail are such a Ross and Rachel, but I’ll leave any further speculation about which characters line up best to you, dear reader.
Watch it for yourself below.
This is the part of every story on this game where I lament the absence of Red Dead Redemption 2 PC release date, but you know that drill by now. Instead, let a little joy into your life by viewing goofy crossover videos.
